Thanks.

The elevator is fixed at an angle with hot glue. No gyro input on it yet. Just motor tilt for pitch control.

RCv ... looks like it handles a pretty good wind .. epecially with it being such a blunt box nose

Charlie got a nose job. Check the video again. He is now super streamlined like a stealth jet!...or tug boat, take your pick

Doing some looking around. I came across a forum about bicopters and in particular this thread about gyroscopic control. Good stuff.

Mollie VTOL - Firmware upgrade (1 min 55 sec)


Upgraded the firmware to MWC 2.2 and removed the flaps.

It is a tilt rotor, just not the full 90 degrees, that will come with version II.

That is a very nice looking hybrid quadcopter though and may be the solution for someone that needs the extra stability at the minimal cost of the extra motors and power consumption.
