Covering a combat wing

I thought I put this on the forum the other day, but it just showed up on my blog. This might interest anyone that covers their own airplanes. This PVC stuff is cheap and easy. I can cover an airplane in minutes. I did the vids for a buddy on his phone so I broke it up in three vids. You can get this stuff, normally in clear, off ebay cheap. 1/2A's would use 75 gauge. Bigger stuff needs 100 gauge. I got some 150 gauge, but its heavy....but plenty tuff.

Thanks Bob, this is very helpful and timely. Our new controline club here in Las Vegas had it's first meeting Monday night, 20 people showed up. One of the items on the agenda was the adoption of a "club event". We ended up voting for speed limit combat. These videos will help us in a big way.

Bob, thanks for the video on covering the wing and the reply to the thread.
I liked the link for the graphics.
Iíll have to get some clear decal paper, or perhaps use regular paper as it appears to have been done,
And Iíll try the Doculam it on my present build.

Here is another US source with good pricing and flat rate shipping under $6. Some suppliers require a minimum 2 roll purchase, but Oregon will allow single rolls.

Oregon Laminations

Spraying lightly on the adhesive side with rattlecan floral paints will add color, keep the weight low and eliminate the problem of scratching and fuel effects.
