310mm strong aerobatic frame

Photo from warthox

This strong plywood frame has been cnc cut, to provide the strongest shape for this size of frame. Then sanded down to give the best finish and bring it down to a weight of around 150g. I then stain and varnish the frame.

Motor holes are 19/19mm, this gives you the option of 4 different angles for the motors. Only 2 screws are needed and they are supplied..

This frame is designed for 8 inch propellers, 9 inch will not fit.

I have changed my mind a little.

To allow more people to purchase the frame. I will sell the plain version (no coat) with motor screws for $59 including shipping

the design has changes slightly since the picture. Motor mounts have been corrected, and hole for the nanowii have been added. Also the design has been strenghtened

Oh, wait, no. Not me. :P

Actually, I would like to try it. So I won't disappoint you again with an über-late flight test, let me purchase one of these right away! If the hole spacing can be changed to 16/19 that is. Using cross-mounts will only add lots of weight, especially when you can just use regular M3 screws to attach the motors directly to the frame. ALSO, why not add a 45x45 hole spacing in the middle so we can easily put a KK2 board on it using nylon standoffs?

A ha! There just regular m3 screws. Good to know as I hate the cross mounts, must be easy to buy, 12-15mm m3 screws is it?

I was thinking of the holes for a kk2 but so many different flight controllers, ill add them anyway.

Ditch that last frame, as ive gone through 2 of them now. When its made ill send you a paypal request for 100kr.

Maybe ill get to see you review it when theres ice on the lake again next year!

I wasn't sure about the KK hole spacing, good thing you could measure them. But yeah, I have a ton of M3 screws at home with various lengths. If you could make a frame with 16/19 hole spacing that would be brilliant. This is one I can finish in one evening, and that's a promise. I have a whole set of banged up DJI motors here including a bag of unopened DJI 18A ESCs just begging to be used on something.

Alright, I'll donate the other frame to someone in need and use this one instead. I've been meaning to repair my F330 frame for a while now. I have 3st 850mah 4S lipos on the table here which I havent been able to use in a long long time, grrrr! Your frame with DJI motors on 4S would be insane!

I would check the kk2 board holes anyway as I read somewhere that there is 2 different sizes of the kk2. Easy to fix the motor hole placement. I don't know why I didn't even think of that!

850mah battery??? What motors do you have? I get 8 mins acrobatic on my 370 frame with 2650 4s

On my F330 (Back when it wasn't in pieces..) I used the 2212 920kv DJI motors on it and 20A SImonK ESCs. 8" props and 850mah 4S lipos. Because of the low weight the performance was pretty darn awesome! Flights were somewhat short, but that's why I have many batteries instead.

I hope to do the same with this frame.

Mind you, if 100kr is all you're asking for that frame I foresee you having a lot less free time. Don't price yourself too cheap.
