Who says electric flight is a new thing? This is a shot of Wim with an airplane that is
nearly 20 years old and still alive today. The photo was taken in 1978, and shows the
second version of his first electric plane, a Robbe Geier flying wing, 10 1.2 SCR cells,
Mabuchi 550 motor and a Zinger 7*5.5 wood prop.</td>

10*1500 SCR cells, Keller 30/8 SLG(geared 3/1) cobalt motor and a Robbe &quot;banana&quot;
15*10 prop. Span about 2.6m, weight about 2.4kg, E205 airfoil. Flew like a dream. Exploded
while doing laps in F5B after being a bit too heavy-handed in the previous turn (no
spars!). </td>
