Please ask questions in the thread so all can benefit/help.

As shown in the image, the portion of the body outside and attached to the sides is canted down at 15 degrees. This is absolutely necessary to turn. The thrust angles are as shown. If your viewing from the front, the motor shaft should be tilted up and to the right for down thrust vector and right thrust vector.

World Cup Timing is noted :-) !

Teddy, you are welcome to do one yourself.

I tried to get the local guys to do a Flyguy in Foot Ball garb.
They currently fly the Big Advertising RC balloon in the Stadium.
The response was that the Lawyers were too afraid of liability if it crashed into the crowd.

So since RC planes are a NO GO at sporting events it seems unlikely
that we will see any Flyguys done in Sporting attire unless it's for outdoor
events like Golf , and even then only for the advertising purposes.

Maybe a Flyguy on a Bicycle at Tour de France
or Ski's at Winter Olympics
Or Training a Dragon AKAK current movie

Randy,

Of Course I cut ALL the Sizes and Versions ... STILL ! :-)

I'll even ship it to Saudi if you gotta have it there !
How about a Guillermo painted up like a Sheik.
It's a bird, its a plane ... it's Super Saudi

My old URL www.balsabuddies.com still works too.
Although I have moved to Indiana and now use www.Hoosiercutoutservice.com

They Both work, as my ISP linked them.

The old Northwest Cutout Service name, however, is toast since I am in Indiana now.

Flyguys and most of Otto's other designs are all offered and can be ordered at ...
http://www.balsabuddies.com/planes/otto.htm

I just moved my 4'x8' CNC machine from the garage to my new Shop.
I got to rediscover how heavy I made the table AGAIN" ! wheew

Stay safe over there !

I think it would be pretty cool to put led afterburners on the feet like flitetest did.

Hey Otto....are there any tiled plans for the flyguy v3? I am very impressed with the way the v3 flies. I am looking into building the v3 but the size is just too large for my needs...I have a 39" homemade version of the flyguy and the rc superhero that I fly indoors and at E-fest every year. Was wondering also if you could recommend a motor size for a v3 version that is between the 31 and the 46" flyguys? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

Using Adobe X or later you can print any PDF on multiple pages.

No need for tiling anymore.

I'd probably use two AX 1806N 2500kv from hobby king with two 10 amp escs and 4.5 x 3 props (counter rotating) on 3s with one 1000mah battery. It will be fast and very aerobatic.

The build is easy but the flight control system is complex. I only publish designs that are easy to build, easy to setup and easy to fly such as Flyguy. The setup is the issue for the billboard.
