Best Sub C cell for 45 amp static draw?

What would be the best sub C cell for a static 45 amp draw? The flights would be full throtle for limited time, with throttle management, and motor off time each flight. The Batteries will be well exposed in flight for cooling.

Sanyo CP2400SCR
Sanyo RC2400

These 2 cells seem to weigh about the same, the RC2400 is more expensive, but is it a better cell for delivering Amps?

Also the NiMh Sanyo

Sanyo RC3000H, is it capiable of delivering 45 amps static? It weighs .1 oz more than the NiCads.

How is the RC3000H at delivering voltage as compared to the NiCads? Do you need an extra cell to make the voltage even or does it hold up?

Thank You

Hi Ron,

Apparently, the RC2400 is the best of the ones you've mentioned. The RC3000 is the worst being NiMH and higher resistance. Have a look here at the 35A curves.

The Nicds are about 0.05V higher than the Nimh cells. At 45A, the RC3000 may be damaged.

Why not e-mail Ralph at Magtecnic and ask him?

Sub-C Compare

Hello Andrew

Thanks for the comparison.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I am dropping an e-Mail right now.

Would the new Sanyo HRSC3000 hold up to the 45 amp Draw?
They are supposed to be the improved CP version of the RC 3000. I am considering an 8cell pack of the HRSC3000 for my Twinjet cobalt (13t)? Anyone have any experience with the new NIMH HRSC3000 please speak up.
