So which are you liking best, NEX-5N or this Rx100? They appear to be the same price.

Ive been using the RX100 for about 5 months now, love it, it produces decent quality stills as well.

Jeff was this without any in camera stabilization set?

I had the camera steady shot on. I'm pretty impressed how well it performs. I haven't shot any still with this cam so not sure who it holds up against the 5n.

Jeff I used a still shot from the RX100 for a magazine shoot. Top Gear magazine (uk car magazine) used a shot as a full bleed double page spread.

Are you using servos to actuate the shutter on the RX100, or infared for still photos?

Im using a servo to activate the shutter, unfortunately there is no infrared setup for the RX100

The photo in Top Gear magazine is about the 12th or 13 photo in on my website, sorry I dont have a jpeg of it on this computer . Its the photo of an Audi crossing a bridge in morning light.

I had an RX100 but unfortunately I had a HFP flip and it now takes photos around corners... but here are some samples from mine at early evening / dusk from my DW VM-6. Yes I want another but I need to sell some stuff first to afford it

I have a basic servo trigger "virtual finger" and fpv-style camera for the downlink - but these were shot manually guessing with HFP controlling the gimbal.
