Build Log

77" Edge goldberg

Bought this plane yesterday this is my first gasser to build, second ARF to build . I am going to do a build log, hoping that you guys will have lots of input to help me along the way. It looks like the motor box has been covered with epoxy alcohol mix already. Might go over it again to be safe. I re-glued all interior I could reach. Now some pointers on beefing up landing gear would be nice Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361115739.821834.jpg

Also the instructions start by putting the control horns on ailerons first, then installing the aileron. The last plane I did I put the aileron on first then the control horn. Does it really matter? I haven't received servos yet, so actual construction will have to wait. Just getting some suggestions will help me a lot thanks guys.

Now for motor box I contemplated putting blocks in corners with epoxy and bolts but might go with aluminum angle pieces instead for strength Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361242084.975398.jpg

so do you have some angle brackets too put on the firewall!

I definitaly would add some reinforcements on that firewall!

Not yet hopefully today. Going with a pterodactyl 36 cc motor. What size gas tank do you recommend. 16oz or 32oz

I can tell from the 81" that 16oz should be plenty
