Engine For Super Sport Senior by World Models

Can someone tell me what engine I should use on this plane? It has a 81" wingspan and weighs around 9lbs. I bought it without the engine at a swap meet and cannot remember what size engine the seller said to use. Also would need to know prop size. Thanks for the comments in advance.

if it where mine, it would be a 20cc gas, with a 16x6 or 17x6

looks like fun!

Can you recommend a brand on the 20cc gas. I have never used a gas engine before. I read somewhere a while back that the fuselage may not hold up to a gas engine.

my hobbyking RCG 20cc (DLE clone) runs smoother then my OS 91fx! and I have yet too put in a NGK plug!

Their website shows a 91 4 stroke, so yes, a 20cc gas should do the trick...

So the hobbyking 20cc is actually a good engine? Is there any other cost involved to getting started with gas compared to nitro.

couple bucks for a petrol compatible fuel tank stopper, tygon fuel lines!
and about 7 bucks for a NGK spark plug! I use a 1400ma 4.8v ni-cad for ignition!

but what you don't need is a starter battery, glow driver, extra paper towels!

I'm currently flying its "cousin" the Wing Maker's version and am using a Saito 100. Flys great with that combo....

Looks like your pilot is having a bad day in that first pic.

Yeah, it got scared with that last landing But I have calmed his nerves and he is back in the saddle again...I had two relative newbies flying it today - never had to take the controls back!
