What's so bad about that servo, the G series plug or that it was made upside down ????

I figured the issue was that they installed the retainer screw before the arm...

.... if I want to use those servos with it I have to cut off pieces of them.... Please tell me that I can get some sort of converter so that I don't have to damage PERFECTLY GOOD SERVOS...
Wait now, hold on...

I always thought "perfectly good servos" were the type you COULD use, and "damaged servos" were the type you COULDN'T use. I guess maybe that would make too much sense, though.

I don't even wanna know how you file your taxes

My hovercraft is full of eels.
It's not just servo plugs. There is lots of stuff that could be standardized to make this hobby easier to deal with. Servo splines, servo leads, servo horns and servo screws,. X-mount bolt patterns, motor spacing, motor boxes (I'm looking at you, Sebart.), spinners and PROP COLLETS! Don't even get me started on those useless pieces of

Anyway... I'm with ya, man.

I hate electronics/power connectors, there's probably 1.74 million different ways to connect two things together with electrical signals and a power supply together. I usually get the task of picking the right one to fit the requirements. There goes 6 hours to a few weeks. Just looking through TE/Amp puts me to sleep.

And the little 'wall wart' adaptors. A big mess of wires and space used on the outlet. Switch off that power strip to be green also. The AC adaptors use a bit of power even when not charging. They call it 'Vampire Power' in the news.

R/C parts will all standardize right after all auto parts standardize....

Seriously, dealing with Futaba servo connectors in non Futaba RX units is a very minor thing.

There is so much legacy stuff in this hobby. It's hard to understand why so much of it is allowed to persist.

What's going to need to happen is a combination of the old crowd dying off, and the Chinese manufacturers to bring some fresh ideas in.

Because the old crowd just isn't getting it done.
