Is this a Cub?

This looks like a cub to me but the tail doesnt look quiet right. It has a 90 in. wing and is about 63 in tail to firewall. Would like to buy a cowl for it. What do you guys think.

Definitely not a cub of any sort. It looks like a scratch build with the wings and horizontal tail of a Telemaster to me. Unless there was a version of the Telemaster with a built up rounded fuse and clear cockpit like that? Or maybe it's just a Telemaster with some stringers on the outside of the sheeted sides? What does it look like on the inside?

Not sure what it is, but not a Cub in my opinion. Wingtips, and tail surfaces not correct, fuse shape also not correct. Could be a kit bash? Not sure what it is, but put some gear in in it and have fun!

Could take dimensions and build or buy something that fits, but a Cub cowl may fit. Looks like a nice plane anyways.

The inside does look like someone hand cut the pieces. Definately not an arf. May just be a kit bash.

I would think a cub cowl would fit fine anyways.

The rudder and fin look somewhat like a Beaver, but the fuselage doesn't, its not really a model of a full size plane, its just a sport/fun flyer.

I'm confused as to why you thought this might be a Cub. It looks absolutely nothing like a Cub. The wing is wrong, the fuse is wrong, the horizontal stabilizer is wrong, the vertical stabilizer is wrong, the elevator and rudder are wrong.

I guess I'm just an old guy who's been around airplanes too much. Plus, the airport where I fly my powered paraglider is home to about 25 Cubs!

Anyway, finding a cowl shouldn't be a problem.

LMBO!!

I looked at it and so I will render my opinion, I think it is a couple of older kits that someone had laying around that my have been crashed and wanted a good project. Maybe the wing servived off of a telemaster and the fuse looks to have a beaver cub bash going on. So what you have is a,

It looks like it should be a very nice lazy afternoon flyer.

This reminds me, after I finish the Sig Astro Hog I'm building I have a Sig Seniorita kit to build.

Definetely NOT a Piper Cub. Wing tips alone should be rounded amongst other issues.
