Tinted plastic for canopy

Hi, I often mold my own canopies with a home-made vacufromer,
and an about to start on scratchbuilt Ximango motorglider.
This airplane has lots of appeal, and even has P51-type retracts
Before i start, I want some .030 tinted blue plastic for the canopy,
like in the photo
Does anybody know of a source for this stuff?
I tried dyeing it, and transparent paint, no good

+1
Rit dye works very well...the color depth and opacity depend on the type of plastic, heat of your bath and how long it stays there.
