NEW!! EPP Foam Glue

New From Bob Smith

"Foam-Cure" a silicon based clear, flexible adhesive. Will bond any porous surface and is good for use on foam, especially the EPP types. Foam-Cure stays flexable when it is cured, but does NOT cure well when bonding two non-porous surfaces.

1 ounce $2.25
4 ounce $3.40

Orders shipped USPS Priority for a flat $ 6.00 per order

No, kicker will not work on it. I tried it. I spent yesterday afternoon building some foamy things and the 15-30 minute dry time is about right on.

More info please

Could not find any info on the BSI website.
Is it a CA type?
Is it similar to a silicone?
Is it similar to contact adhesive?

Bob Smith does not have it on his web site yet. I just go my stock in two weeks ago.

It's not a CA type. Silicon based, flexible and clear. More like a glue than silicone.

It not a contact cement either. Comes out kinda jelly like. Instructions say that for a faster cure you can put the glue on, put the pieces in place and then pull apart and let air dry for 1 to 10 minutes and then rejoin the parts

Sorry guys, I had to increase the shipping amount. Between Pay-Pal and the USPS I just couldn't do it.

i've been using this for a couple of months and it's a much better value than beacon's foam tac. it doesn't beat quick grip (also by beacon) $3-$4 for 2oz @ wallyworld, stick the pieces together and pull apart 3 times or so in 60 seconds and it's already set up good enough to hold itself and you can fly 30 minutes later. i make hinges with it, glue the old ladies mouth shut, it's great stuff BUT, only on epp type foam. it eats pink girlie foam and depron (depron, sounds like something panties are made out of) no extruded polystyrene types at all, blue, white or pink. RANT OVER

this is by far the cheapest i've seen foam-cure, most every place is $4.99 for 4oz.
just had to get 4 bottles... and some extra bottle caps for ca, extra tips, some eyedropper type applicators and then some music wire......................
it's a vicious vicious cycle.

thanks-a-lot ron,

Beacon Foam Tac is better for sure. But, for the price it sure makes a good filler glue.

I do not care for beacon because it is too thick. I love this glue over beacon, it is easier to apply with control and accuracy. Both are similar in respect to strength.
