I want one for glow. What would you want for just the plane?

If you want a Rascal knock off I would recommend checking this plane out. http://www.valuehobby.com/airplanes/...ro-series.html

I had to cut the hardwood glow engine rails out of my plane to get the electric motor installed.

Is the Rascal in good shape? All it needs if a reciever? How old is the kit? Does it have a battery hatch on bottom like the Sig Rascal 72 EG?

The plane is in fine shape. I bought it about 8 years ago and flew it as glow for about 10-12 flights. It then hung from my ceiling for several years. It has a hatch that I put in it on the right hand side; it was not designed like the EP version. And yes all that is needed is a TX/RX.
