Legal is no fun at all.

Man, I can't thank you enough. That is unbelievably generous of you! I only hope I can repay the favor one day.

Well folks, it looks like I'm FINALLY going to be able to order next week. I'm putting together an order list now.
Does anyone have a recommendation on control horns/clevises/arms? I would like to have the horns that screw through a flat piece on the other side, but I'm not sure what size to order. Also, I'd like some of those thick, sexy looking carbon fiber pushrods. Thoughts?

There are a lot of ways you could go with this but here is what I used on the Phantom:
- 2-56 fully threaded rod (http://www.amazon.com/Du-Bro-801-2-5...6+threaded+rod)
- Great Planes 2-56 threaded clevis (http://www.amazon.com/Great-Planes-S.../dp/B001BHI3NC)
- Du Bro 1/2A control horns (http://www.amazon.com/Du-Bro-107-Con...+control+horns)
- Carbon Fiber Tube: 4mm x 2.5mm, 1m Long (http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...oducts_id=3712)
- Hitec Aluminum servo arm (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...rch_detailpage)

You may be able to find a lot of the stuff locally if you have a decent hobby shop.

Hi
I see that you have your Mobius inside the fram, do you have the lens outside on an extension cable?
And can you please shoot some pics of it so I can get some idea on how to spray paint mine?

Here are a bunch of pictures of the plane:

Here is a pic of the extension cable leading to the lens mounted in the front.

Awesome! Thanks, yet again. And funny thing.. I'm so used to ordering everything online, I hadn't thought to check the hobby shop. It's a chain store and doesn't have the biggest selection in the world but they may have some stuff that could work..

Just a quickie to say hello to all FX-61 Phantom flyers.

I've just ordered the V2 kit version of one of these as finally there was stock in the UE warehouse.
Primarily I want to fly it as a simple platform for a Mobius camera and perhaps some time in the future I may add a basic FPV system.

Looking forward to joining the party soon.

Steve.

You know, I was just thinking. I have a phantom waiting to be built at the moment. I am just finishing up an X8 build, and a new antenna tracker for APM, and I should have time in a few weeks or so to start the Phantom. So maybe I will finally take the time and do a build log and document my process. Then we can build these planes at the same time.
The only part of the process I won't be able to document is the motor mount, as I put that in months ago.

That would be awesome man! It may take a few weeks before all my components and everything gets in so it could be perfect timing.

If you are going to do the cat7 cable connectors for the wings,
You are going to want to pick up two of these:
http://www.amazon.com/CablesOnline-S...T16BQHFNG5TE1S

And one of these:

Ok cool. Honestly, I hadn't decided on what to do about that.. I'm not sure I have the know how to make that work. Is it just for the servo leads, or are you running anything else via the cat7?
