Brandon is an A team member! Today is looking real good for conditions, so if you can get to Fermin, do it. I will do tomorrow as well.

I'll try and pop out tomorrow, if for no other reason then to get the Acacia 2 checked out. Today's not looking too good for getting away...

I'm sure they are flying. Its SSW @ 15 at Fermin right now, and should clock around to more west (better) shortly.

Way fun today, new guys rocked. I think Brandon (not Monte) looked like he is a real contender, Steve and Ken wont be far behind. Lots of regulars stoked to get the dust off. Conditions were perfect.
I am doing it again tomorrow, conditions permitting. I may just do it again next weekend as well.

Thanks Guys!

That was a great thing you guys did today.
Brandon's help with my set up was obvious in the 2nd session.
Much appreciated and very giving of you.
The turn judges were unselfish to an extreme.
Hope they got some air time too.

It was good to see more new blood to clog up the mid-field this season.
It looks like it will be a gaggle of us duking it out for semi-glory.

WD- you are the Dude!
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for a great time Warren! That was a lot of fun. Really looking forward to more races!

Brandon, thanks for all the setup help and coaching.

Couldn't have asked for a better intro to F3F and can't say enough about how helpful and friendly everyone was.

Great day today except for the way home!

Flat tire just before hitting the 91 East on the 110 North! Pulled off to the right and the
shoulder was very narrow. Cars screaming past me at 70mph! Didn't want to chance
changing the tire that close to moving traffic. Called roadside assistance, they quoted
me a 45 minute wait. 2 hours and 35 minutes later they show up. Laid out the cones,
tire changed and just now arrived home at 8:20 PM. I left Fermin at 4:40 PM!

Ok, enough ranting about the flat tire......

New guys did great today! Now you have your work cut out for you once the season gets
started to pick the guy just ahead of you and work your way up the ladder! Glad I could help
with plane setup and flying tips. Everyone was flying better as the day progressed! I encourage
the new guys to get out and try and practice a couple more times before we get under way in March!

If you need a copy of the schedule just let us know!

Glad you all had fun and all planes in one piece!

Was great flying today. Really bummed I didn't get the Precision up and flying. Found the problem to be a faulty Rx. Swapped it out and it's running like a champ. I've been playing with the DX18 up everything that I don't need or want out of the settings. I'll be working on a clean setup of my own this learn the radio settings and such. I'm new to the 4 servos in the wing so all the extra settings are all new...flight modes are all new to me as well.

The current issue I have with the V-tail in the setup...on the right stick I have elevator...the V-tails move up and down in the correct directions....however when I use the left stick to move the's opposite....I move left and the tails move right. For the life of me, I can't figure out where the problem is....I'm sure it's something to do with mixing...somewhere. Any help to shed some light would be appreciated.

Thanks a TON Warren and the rest of the non-noobs.....Hope you enjoyed the cookies....I didn't even get a single one....

It's all go though...I'll bring more next time...and be sure to get mine first.

See you guys soon!

Try swapping the two v-tail servo leads in the Rx ports then reversing the servo directions.
