Phoenix and Real Flight sims

Do these programs read data from your programmed transmitter, such as mixes? Lets say your radio has flaperons and elevons programmed, would these programs know that?

None of them read configurations from your transmitter. They just get the output from your transmitter like any RX would. If you have a mix programmed in the transmitter the program doesn't know it just gets the end result of the mix that your transmitter outputs.
