New school on rudder servo

One of the guys on the RC groups Tam Viperjet build used the servo arm under the rudder itself to move the rudder - real slick thinking

More advance on the formers and placements of goodies.
Thanks to the "false fan "shroud from Schubeler much more easy to play around.
I ad to cut few formers short to have room to insert the fan mouth thought the canopy....
The HV ESC is just behind the canopy on a small tray very well secure with Hysol with velcro and velcro strap, will be a very short connection with cables. The two cells "tray" are just under the canard tray , its room for 12 5500 ..14 will be a challenge , I think I will stay with 12 and keep my big COM Pro controller for a larger jet..Maybe the Skymaster F15
Next it's to connect the fan and attach wing with short spar
I will not advance to fast in the futur because I'm getting a new puppies "Bernese " tomorrow

awwwwwe, the Bernese pup is soooooooooo cute. I gotta get my Pyrenees soon. someone local is offering Pyr pups for 500 bucks. I may have to sell my Bud hydroplane to fund that project. LOL.

Luckily the puppy sleeping a lot and smart dog use already the Doggy door...so easy and well trained
This give me some freedom to continue my building in the basement:
I decided to not use E-doors they are to big for this model ,I will keep them for an other project
Instead I 'm using a 5125 Hitec for the front door, glue flat on the floor work super.
I made the front door with 1 once fibre glass +1/16 balsa + carbon kevlar cloth .
Solid and light + offset hinges .
This morning cut the aluminium spar and glued to the wing with Gorilla glue and the two wood peg at the front and rear. Wax/vaseline the fuselage root....
The alignment of this wing is perfect the other wing I will ad to ad a bit off auto body filler for the joint

Good new both wings are perfectely align , no need for Bondo. The wheel fill the opening and I will not use doors there .
Did the servo install in the wing with carbon rod : again light

Your making good progress. What do you plan to do with the wings? Are you going to cover them, glass them or just paint them?
