FP full brushless Double Horse 9104

I got the DH9104 in January 2012. It was like this:
http://site.xheli.com/image/67H-9104-Blue/1.jpg

Main target was to have 4 channel BL version from DH9104.
...yes I know that I would be able to buy better heli cheaper, but I just love challenges and modifying. For me it's more than half of this hobby.

Current combination:
- Turnigy 9X tx + 8ch rx & digital servos
- Esky Honey Bee CP3 canopy
- Assan GA250 gyro
- E-Flite Blade SR swashplate (fits with original main shaft)
- HB X-treme blades
- Turnigy EH 200 4100kv BL main motor:
- Turnigy 18A ESC
- 10T Pinion gear
- Turnigy 1811 2100 kV BL tail motor
- Turnigy 12A ESC for tail
- custom made servo links
- T-rex 450 style battery tray
- T-rex 450 landing skids
- navigation LED lights ...
- ....and much more....

Update: Apr 2nd

Finally got the Turnigy 9X, ASSAN GA-250 gyro and digital servos with metal gear.
I put my DH in small pieces.....painted the frame matt black, made all new wires and added some leds.

Yesterday I made the maiden flight with new setup and it flyed GREAT

Some older pics......
....when it was updated with MJX F45 tx + rx

I made this landing plate as a christmas present to my very good friend

Good Job! I plan a complete overall of mine later in the spring. Right now, working on the 450 DDVP monster. The flymentor is being a pain!

Great job! What rx are you using with the 9X Tx? Is it the same Tx BG sells for less than the Turnigy brand? For $84+ you get the Tx and Rx and a module I think. Here's the link. http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Fl...2-p-47904.html

I don't know the protocols but thought I read that FlySky was on the way out and FrSky the newest and best? Any thoughts?

There is only 1 Blade SR http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...li-EFLH1500#t4
not to be confused with the Blade mSR, 120 SR or mSRX. The stock swash is plastic, part # EFLH1511 for $9.99. The upgrade is metal part # MHESR3012 found here http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...e-sr-MHESR3012 for $26.99.

I use this swash (Xtreme Metal Swash for (Blade SR) BSR005). It has never come apart. I have the same setup as Tumppi. It is part plastic, and part metal, and a little bit cheeper.

Can you give any measurements for those little Aluminum linkage pieces on the rotor head? What did you use for the servo linkages? Were they Blade SR parts?

For the tail motor you list Turnigy 1811 2100kV, would a Turnigy 1811 2000kV or 2900kV work as well?

AD-100L Micro Brushless Outrunner 1850Kv

This motor is only a little heavier and no little wires to break. I use it now and like it a lot more: AD-100L Micro Brushless Outrunner 1850Kv

This double horse modified 9104 is one tough helicopter. I have crashed it so many times and it just keeps on flying. I am a nube pilot and when I get out of control I just land it. Sometimes it lands to hard, and breaks the landing skid, or if I clip the fence with the rotor blades, they will break. I have bent the stabilizer, and just bend it back and keep on flying. I Know how with the stabilizer you are always one step behind, when trying to control it, but with 4 channel's, I think it is a sturdy, and fun helicopter to learn on.
