Horizon UNLOADS

New releases from E-Flite & Hangar-9

H9 Composite 2.6m QQ Yak @ $1,699

E-Flite Carbon-Z Splendor F3A @ $419
http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...rodId=EFL10250

E-Flite L-13 Blanik 4.2m ARF sailplane @ $999
http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdId=EFL4910

E-Flite Blade CX-4 coaxial @ $229

Them some high prices...
I really do not understand the logic behind the F3A release, AS3X is not allowed to be used in any F3A events...

i'n sorry if i offend somebody but if your going to drop $230 on a coax heli you might as well throw your money in a fire and burn it. Horizon is getting incredibly stupid with their pricing.

I dont see anybody trying to be competitive with a foam plane either. No matter how much carbon you stick in it you still wont beat balsa

Yea those prices and the built in rx with the 3g axis gyro on the rx leaves lots of folks out. Personally I did not see anything that looked purchase worthy.

A moot point since the AS3X is illegal to use in any competition.

+1. Not to mention these offerings are straight up ugly. Except the yak is ok.

Nothing exciting there. $419 would be compelling if it was balsa.

Don't like the yak's cover scheme myself. Rest is blah really.

I think their best release of late was the BF109 but that's not cheap either:

the really cool thing about the yak is that it is a composite ship, way too rich and big for me but still really cool none the less

Blanik

The Blanik is interesting as that is what most of my full scale time is in. I can't see the business case for it. Each of the others will out sell it by at least 100:1.

There carbon yak was okay but not the greatest. Lots had failed servos out of box and the plane was kinda on heavy side. Not sure why there prices going to high you can build a 3dhs or extreme flight.for those prices
