Multiplex Tucan

Multiplex is marketing a model designed and previously sold under another brand.
It looks quite nice but will it live up to the ease of assembly and quality standards that we expect from Multiplex?

I'm not fond of too many scale details on MPX planes:

Product is now listed on French vendor: http://www.flashrc.com/multiplex/120...multiplex.html

No need to worry.

The Tucan is only available as kit or kit plus, i.e. all foam parts will come in "plain Elapor".

Aside from the decals, do you happen to know if MPX changed this kit at all or is it a straight re-branding of the original?

I am not 100% sure, but looking at the instruction manual of the Novaflight Tucano, it looks like the models are indeed the same.:

As mentioned before in another thread, the designer of Multiplex retired last year and I assume, that the designer of the Novaflight Tucano changed employers. I assume the Solius is also from the same designer.

Thanks. So we could be seeing a whole new direction for Multiplex models.

When the models have been so good for so long, any change is worrisome...but I wish him the best in his retirement!
