Do you need something 3D printed.

HI all.
Just want to let you all know that I 3D print parts for RC planes.
scale parts, non scale parts.
If you can think it theirs a fair chance i can model it and print it for you.

here is a link to some of the things i have made for people over the past few months. (files are in 3D PDF format, left click to rotate, mouse wheel to zoom in)
just click on the file you want to see. choose "DOWNLOAD" from the top right of screen, either save the file to your computer or choose "open with - acrobat reader"

The cost depends on the weight of the object to be made.
which is around 20 cents per gram of material printed and $1.00 per hour of printing time.

most of the time I'll do all the modeling for free.
or for a very small fee if it's a complex part.
or if you have your own model just send it to me.

I can print parts up to 230mm long x 140mm wide x 140mm high.

material used is ABS Plastic. (same stuff as Lego is made out of)

send me a message if you have any questions.

HI Hugh

models need to be a single part not an assembly.
and exported as a STL file.
in the "options" for STL change the settings to
Deviation tolerance to about 0.06mm
Angle tolerance to about 5.0 deg.

or just send me the SolidWorks part file and I'll do the conversion to STL

also, if you have a non SolidWorks file, I can import STEP or IGES.

Hey Andrew how strong is the ABS? strong enough to make a motor mount for a quadcopter? And can you print multiple items at the same time?

Just Keeping UP
ABS is more than strong enough for a properly designed motor mount. He can probably print multiple parts at the same time. My 3D printer can. They just all have to fit with the print volume of his printer.
