Buildings what I enjoy.
Go to a club or somewhere others fly and talk to them. As someone mentioned find someone to watch you fly.
Don't worry about telementry at the start just learn how to fly first all the good stuff will come afterwards.

You say you want advice on your videography. OK, what is it that you are trying to do?
If you want to produce yet more video of aimless flying with annoying propeller artifacts and the typical GoPro weird horizon bowing, then what you are doing is fine.
If you want to produce something with a Wow factor you must think again.
A great photographer once said to me, "It's no use doing what other people have done. It has to be better than its ever been done before or something that's never been done before."
