Question

Testing CHT & EGT

Ive read many posts about it, but has anyone test with thermocoupkes, RTD, or another sensors in order to take any conclusion about absolute & relative values

Which do you think could be the max. value for EGT temp

In regards to CHT, could I take 300F as max. value

This article is telling 1200F-1300F is a good range for EGT.

http://www.challengers101.com/ExhaustGasTemp.html

Thanks in advance

They just happened to be discussing such things earlier in this thread here. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&highlight=egt
It might have some answers for you too.

Thanks

Yes, Ive read it, but I need real data , data based in the experience of the users, not Theoretical data.

I think 300 F is a good chance for max. CHT temp.

For example, if the mixture is rich, which is CHT temp. ?

150F, 180F, 220F, 240F ?

I want to know about all posibilities , also for EGT temp.

Ill read again , second time you always find new things, but some of you fight too much. Thats no good to anyone.
