Money well-spent, especially if you've done front end work. It's just not cost-effective to buy a new Hunter alignment rack! A car can go perfectly straight done the road and be severely out-of-alignment. The first clue is when you wear out front tires in half the time. At the cost of tires nowadays, it's too big of a chance. Some shops offer the no-adjustment= no charge (with a print out shows specs, adjustments made, etc.)

I use a "Mixed gas" in my tires. Mostly nitrogen, then oxygen with a little greenhouse gas mixed in.

How long would it take you to replace the front struts on a car and reuse the old springs on the new struts ?.

Never reuse the springs, replace it all if you're going to replace the struts. They make "Quick struts" that are reasonably price and install quickly.

RC which BJ press do you have? I have the snappy unit, it's sweet. I waited years before I bought an A frame bushing press, wish I'd done it years ago.

Depending on the car 30 minutes to 1 hour... thats both sides. I have a pnumatic strut compressor... Getting the strut out and changed is easy, sometimes the holes don't want to line up on the top of the steering knuckle and that sometimes slows the process sometimes. (The lower control arm bushings and swaybar can add to the force needed for getting them back in...

I have gotten a bit upset with snap-on lately... I have had replacement tools that look like Stanley... I don't think they were made HERE. This was a 3/8 ratchet and a 1/4 inch ratchet..

I shot a strut spring out of the fixture years ago, think it was a cadillac strut, didnt quite fit the press....boy thats 1 spring you dont want flying around the shop! Still got all my front end tools in garage collecting dust....been years since I pulled them out, they will prolly never be used agian, I dont work on my cars anymore, no patience left after working on heavy equipment over the years
