And with that, She's ready to Fly!!!

And that's about it, she's all set up now and ready to go. The finished weight, w/ a 2200 2S battery is just 22.6 oz. -- hey, NOBODY was more surprised then me, the target weight was 25 - 27 oz.

The motor is a Suppo 2217 w/ an APC 11-7E, so should do well on 2 cells. Can't wait for a good day to test fly. The w-man tomorrow is promising a hurican, dropping off to a full gail on Friday, so will have to sit tight and see what happens. Will definitely post it up when the time comes.

Looks great as always Pat. Would love to see what you could do with an exposed engined Stearman at around 40-45" wing span (1/9th would be 42.88"). I know you have more to do than you need.............just a thought....................oh, must stop thinking, my head's getting fuzzy....................

The Yank

BTW, What happened to the 24" Waco SRE???

Yank, Parts and plans are in hand, but once again the customer work is dominating, so will have to keep it on hold for just a little longer.

Another good Plan Gone Bad

Had planned to fly the Junmeister this morning -- if the winds cooperated, which they sorta did, but never actually planned for this. . . . Meanwhile, the weather-guessers say "more of the same" for tonight and into tomorrow, so will have to sit tight till things improve some.

There's snow in Albuquerque? I had no idea. I thought it was one of those places you go to escape winter. Here in Canada, I have daffodils and tulips about to bloom, and I seriously have to consider cutting my lawn today. But that li'l Bucker might have to find its way into my hanger to hang out with my bigger Bucker. Real nice job on a classic bipe!

Super job on the Junmeister! Best of luck with the test flights.
We had snow in Tucson too!
Is that Feisler Storch somewhere on the list?
