Bottom down on the wing beds. Cores are cut in one pass on CNC wire with bottom down.

I bottom hinged the ailerons with silicon. It appears to work well and I maidened it yesterday in 27 knots successfully. Just front side at this stage but hope to get to a DS ridge in the next couple of weeks.

Yep. Same fuse just a new wing. I am hoping to get over 150 this year as well. Perhaps I will have to come down south and visit your slopes again.

I laminate 2 3/32" pieces together and use 1/4" -1/2" spruce or poplar, etc. leading edge. Or you can bag if you wanna...or use coroplast

Ian

I used 1 layer of 6 oz glass, 2mm balsa, 6 oz carbon, 2mm balsa and then 6 oz glass like a laminate type affair. I bagged it all together with a shaped leading and trailing edge. I DS’ed it yesterday and gave it a good crash test and it was good and strong enough. I suspect that it was an over kill but we get plenty of wind here so weight was not a problem
