Damn Man! That thing looks sweet. I never understood why Neff didn't use the 3D-Paper plans on his seven-twos.?.

Who cares at this point? You have the finest looking B727 EDF card model I've seen yet.

Rock on,

GD

this is, toooooooo awesome!

Bte i think that the new 10blade 50mm EDF's on the market should have more than enough thrust on 3s and far to much to be scale on 4s...!

Well I ordered the Cyclone 3010 10 bladed EDF's today. Looks like they will fit in the scale nacelle's. They say they have a ton of power for a 50mm. I hope they're right because I'm only going to run 2ea. Doin a little putty work on the seems. Then starting the internal structure for the motor mounts.

Hey Delta, could you post a link to the 50mm Cyclone 3010 10 bladed EDF's you referenced? I haven't seen those and would be interested for my next build.

Thanks
Joe

Hi, time to fess up, I'm a glider guy that has been lurking here a bit... I love the airliners, was an airline mechanic for 20+ years. Maybe one of these days I'll build myself an airliner.

Just wanted to point out, Mr Cooper hopped out of a Northwest 727..... which sounds like a perfect excuse to build another 727 model

What airline did you work for. Im still a mechanic at Delta, been doing it for about 29 years and about tired of it. I started at Zantop in 1984 was there about 14 yrs. then went to Northwest for 2 yrs. and ended up at Delta. Im ready to get out. But with this economy gotta keep going.
