However, on balance CF propellers successfully used some old and unused nail polish from my wife, which I her occupied (it was a tip from SimenSays). Just go to the nail studio, where she's doing and does not need ...It dries very quickly and is very aromatic
But super glue is way better. Dries in 5 seconds! You need the brush on type. Very thin layers as well Perfect for balancing props

$ 50? Is not that a little expensive? Plus shipping?

well if you dont want to pay $50 you can spend over couple grand to buy a 3d printer and print it yourself. Its available for free on Thingiverse for download http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:112017

It took me over 6 month's to learn how to print items, so its a huge investment of time.

Cheers

Thanks for that link!

You stated that "has improved my flight characteristics dramatically"

Can you share how it has improved your flight characteristics?

Ah, thanks for the explanation...
It's just that I have for similar money (60 €) to a 3D printer Shapeways just bought a whole bag of complicated printed components for carbon-plastic Simensays folding landing gear, which will probably be more resistant to rollover when landing and is also foldable.

Hi guys,

Due to a to hard pressing on the potentiometer ( tilt) in the remote unit, it caused a short circuit with the fuse, so the fuse burned. Thats what it is ment for obviously, however i want to replace it but it is a soldered version.

Anybody a idea about the rate ( and burn speed) ?

Lesson, dont press to hard on this potentiometer from outside, it will cause short circuit as it very tight to the fuse.

Thanks,

Wouter

Right, but you will have to wait 10 business days for SHAPEWAYS to print them, then ship it to you. also you need to buy carbon tubes, cut it out to fit proper sizing. So its more of a DIY kit.
With my design my goal was to make interchangeable legs that fit on either side and can be easily replaced.
Anyways good luck with you DIY.

Are you actually allowed to fly over/around it? Grand Canyon doesn't allow RC airplanes or helicoptors...

You can upgrade to 3d printable landing gear and save on some weight. It also improves the balance and flight characteristics of the phantom

I used the Arris cm200 V2.0

There was no wind at the falls that day i had been watching the weather for weeks..

Most terrifying flight ever! my heart was pounding.

I made 4 flights the first two it was overcast and i had issues with the tilt i had to get a screw driver and take my goggles off to tilt the camera. The last two flights the sun peaked out through the clouds I got really lucky...

It helps reduce RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) from added FPV gear and outside sources.

since the landing gear is way lighter than original (at least by 15 grams) , my phantom is easier to control now.
Also I can adjust the position of the digital compass and this in turn results in smoother movements.

By the way, I also designed Fat Shark transmitter mount box

My gear is removable for the original as easily as yours
A much DIY work with that is not.
And yes, from Shapeways (Amsterdam and I'm from Europe) I have to wait for the printing and sending - from eBay did not receive it faster.

What is this foil, and where it can take?
Naza is that enveloped the whole, if so, what do barometric sensor?
