I sold my business to Bjorn Baal in January 2017. I trained him myself on how to make the rings just like I did. He is doing a great job, and making excellent rings, and already sending his rings all over the world.
We thank you for all your years of trusting my rings, to fit and make your engine run even better than when you got them from the factory. Bjorn is hoping you will continue to use him as your piston ring replacement guy also.
Frank had about 35 years of experience that he had to cram into poor Mr. Baal’s head, Frank still is advising Mr. Baal, when he has a question regarding piston rings. Frank sold Mr. Baal the same 1951 Logan Lathe that he made his rings on for many years and this is what he trained Mr. Baal on.

Does anyone in the club have a laser cutter or access to one? I need 4 small lite-ply parts to complete a short kit that I picked up at a swap meet. I have CAD files of the 4 needed parts

Benbrook library has one you can use for free. Vinyl cutter and 3d printer too.

M y good friend Gus Hudson from Sulpher Springs TX asked me to see if I can help him sell this brand new never been flown or even started turbine airplane.

Airplane is Pilot Models Dolphin with the Standard wing (86"wing span). Red white and silver color scheme. Comes with all servos, landing gear (air actuated) wheels and air actuated wheel brakes. Brand new never been started KingTech K-140G. The G series engine is Kero start state of the art turbojet engine with approx 32-33 lbs thrust. Will run on jet a or kerosene or diesel from your local gas station. This is an all wood airframe, covered with iron on film. Light weight for its size. A big airplane but not so big as to be difficult to transport or assemble. Lots of wing for reasonably slow landings. Our field is more than big enough.

Includes all servos . all you need to make it airworthy is a TX, RX and batteries.

I have flown one of these several times (owned and flown at T-bird field by Don Top). They fly very well with no bad habits. Not a missle but will be fast enough with this engine and will have very good vertical performance. I would be happy to assist a buyer for the initial flights as needed.

Owner has approx $ 5500-$6000 invested. The engine alone sells new for $ 2300 or $ 2400.

Gus is asking $ 3600 or $ 3700 with receiver or make an offer. Buy it today and fly it tomorrow. What a great way to get into turbine flying.

June 20, 2020........these two ARF's have been sold.

I have a couple of ARF's for sale. Thought I would eventually get around to building them but it's probably not going to happen anytime soon. Especially since I've started to build my Sunfli 4 kit.

I purchased the KAOS new in box via Tower Hobbies; it has never been out of the box so everything should be present. $95

I did not purchase the Model Tech Thunderbolt directly from a retail vendor but it is new in box; I've not taken it out of the box to inventory parts but I'm assuming that everything is present. $100

I have had no takers, so I will donate all four airframes to whom ever will use them. I need the space and will simply trash them if I have no takers by August 10th. I have new planes that I must make room for.

I have three SPA legal Pattern air frames that need your engine and radio and are flight ready.
First is a Curare-Bolt in and ready to fly
Second is an Killer Kaos 60 (Not the ARF)-Also bolt in and ready to fly
Last is a Phoenix 8-Needs motor mount then bolt in and ready to fly
I also have an Intruder not pictured because it blew off of a table at the field and broke the canopy and cowl.
I do have brand new items if you wish to replace. It would then be ready to bolt in and fly.

All are local pick up or I'll meet you at the field.

I have two radios that I do not use. I offer for sale a Futaba T7C with a R617RS receiver. Includes factory nicads and charger. This radio is a FASST radio and does not have a scratch on it.
The other radio is a Tactic TTX 650 six channel computer radio. It is a great first computer radio and is very easy to program and use. Again, there is not a scratch on this radio.
Both radios look and perform like brand new.
Asking $75 for the Futaba and $50 for the Tactic.
