Sunday update: Out flying now. One little rain burst at the moment, but that is all that is on the radar, unlike yesterday with widespread rain that kept filling in as it came in from the south.

Low clouds, but we fly low so head 'em out!!!

The next day....

I had some LiPo packs needing to be discharge after the weekend...... so instead of discharging it at home, I did it the "correct" way.....

The weekend it could have been guys and gals.....
(we still had fun anyway!)

When I looked at them at first I thought they were too high res to be real or un doctored. Look great!

Took the panoramic shots with my 16MP Sony SLT camera. Used a polarizing lens to highlight the contrast in the clouds and cropped a wee bit! I have the originals in my SD card still in the camera if you want proof!! You just have to be in the right place at the right time!!

BTW, my mobile phone camera can take panoramic shots almost like that too. Amazing technology in those little things nowadays!

I'm still sporting a Blackberry (Long story) it takes grainy 4mp standard shots if I stay really really still. I use my keys to lock it.

Jim L knows my pain.
