Hi Ben,

Judging by the pictures, the first and second link seems usable for our purpose, the fine weave for the outside and the coarser weave to reinforce the interior where neccessary.

Non of the cloth in the links is twill woven though, but for a cat's curves, that's no problem.

thanks Jan, but what thickness do you think would be suitable? 0.03mm, 0.06mm, 0.1mm, 0.2mm? Please let me know for the fine weave the coarse.

Started getting all the building supply's in the mail this week. Just waiting on the wood to get here, should be monday. Got the plans blown up and printed out today. Hull is going to be 36". Is a wider CAT more stable? Any tips on modify the hull for performance or things to keep in mind would be sweet. I'll start building as soon as the wood arrives and post some pics. Cheers!
