Sleek looking plane with a knock-out covering. Top side pattern reminds me of my first 4-Star 20EP. Bottom side is really eye catching; must have been a chore putting that pattern together. Care to tell me how you did that?

Actually, it is realatively simple but it does take a little time. Once the bottom is covered with base color (in this case white) the checkerboard pattern is drawn onto the covering using a ball point pen. The squares (1-1/2") are individually cut from the monokote colors (the time consuming portion) and then ironed on in place. After covering, the pen marks are cleaned off using acetone on a paper towel. The acetone cleans off the pen marks and any monokote adhesive smears without affecting the monokote itself.
