i am trying to understand how lipo works. I bought a playmate and it came with a 1s 3.7v 130mah and when i try to fly on really cold days, the plane stops responding to the 3 channel radio system that comes with it. Is this a battery problem?. temperature to low?. Bad motor? trasmitter failure or receiver failure ?
The plane completely shuts down and sometimes if i bring back the throatle back to zero and wait like 2-5 seconds, the plane will start everything again, but it will happens again and again every like 30 second or so . What this mystery could be ? Temperature today at the field was like 35 degrees and winds at 8mph.

LiPolys suffer deminshed performance when cold. Things should be much better when temps. are 70F or above.

The problem was in the antenna and not on the battery. Problem solved.
