Help!

1/10 or 1/8 Basher!!!!!!!!

Hey guys had a question for you all. I am looking for a new electric basher and I want it to have some speed and be able to take if off small skate board jumps and large ramps to get good hight and distance jumps. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Just send me a message.

yup a rustler would be a good choice. the stock traxxas shocks are notorious for popping shock caps when jumping larger jumps, aluminum shock caps are a cheap and effective solution. rpm rear hub carriers are another cheap and reliable upgrade. the stock ones can break easily if you land badly.

Yep good idea I upgraded the whole shock set me back about $60.00 caps are much cheaper. The T Maxx 2.5 has the same trouble

The cars suggested above are good vehicles, but dont listen to people who get off on pawning you up the ladder like some begginner supporting the hobby industry. Skip the crap, you want a traxxas slash 4x4 brushless (for anything).

if hes going to be mostly using it on pavement, a rustler will do just fine. dont get me wrong, the slash 4x4 is awesome(i have 2) but if you are on a budget, the rustler is hard to beat.

Not everyone wants (or needs) a 4x4 SCT. For general bashing and jumping like he wants a rustler will be great, with no need to upgrade in the future.

I like the Rustler but the Dominus 10TR is the same truck really. So I'm looking for something different.

Other than them both being trucks, they have nothing in common. The 10TR is awd, the rustler is rwd.

Since you already have a truck, what would you like to be different for the new one?

I like the 4x4 but I want my new truck to go faster (50 - 55+), better handling, more durable for jumps (both high jumps and distance jumps), available parts, and good amount of upgrade parts.

If that is what you want then get a rustler. You could build the entire truck from all the after market parts available from different suppliers and not one original part from Traxxas. Get all the RPM Parts for the Rustler and it will be almost indestructible. With a Brushless motor and ESC and a Lipo battery it will do what you want.http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/product...s/SandRDex.htm

Rustlererad3 do you have 4x4 or 2x4? And do you think the Rustler is better than the Slash?
