Naza GPS Module arrived yesterday.

Bumblebee 550 kit arrived today








Frame, motors, GPS, and camera come out to just under 1200 grams
+409g for the Battery
+80g for the ESCs
+50g Naza-m FC
+30g for Rx

Looks like I'll come in just under the 1800g take off weight.

The Tenergy TB6-B and 12 in 1 USB Sim dongle also came today.

I tested the TB6-B with a few old 2s packs. I got a low voltage error. Not surprising, they had been sitting for maybe 2 years untouched. I hit them with about 30 seconds of NiMh @ 4amps to bring them up to around 7.5v. All three then balanced and charged successfully. I'll be testing the 12 in 1 dongle later on.

Naza MC is coming tomorrow and everything else will be here Thursday.

I have a question:

I'm just wrapping my head around the fail safe function and how it operates with Naza and a Rx.
The Rx has to support fail safe?
I know the Corona Rx module doesn't support fail safe BUT I know I can bind in fail safe mode, but I think it will need to bind in fail safe every time I disconnect the power. Is that correct?
Basically will the Corona module work with Naza fail safe?
Will I have to bind in fail safe mode every time I fly?

One of the Turnigy ESCs was DOA so I just swapped out all 4 with DJI 30amp Optos. Also the Corona module I bought was Futaba style so it doesn't work with the 9x. I ended up swapping out the Tx and Rx with a Frsky modules.

With the props for the Bumblebee motor being so hard to come by and with such limited options I chose to swap out the stock motors with DJI 2212s.

Went out for her first flight today and she flew beautifully!
