Paypal will escalate it if you ask.

Did some searching and found this

Seems like a very similar scam happened a few months ago. People were getting either crappy glasses or bags and not the items they paid for.

Never had an issue with e-bay, or paypal or even China so all new to me.
From note they sent I need to wait out the shipping period say 3-4 weeks before filing.

does not mean its a scam ,just means he was reported .if your following the thread someone here reported him .others may have to .or they might have removed it for a copy-rite infringement or trademark thing .

i just had a similar thing happen .i bought one of those 12 in simulator cables with 2 disc`s (i already have phoenix but sold it ,its still on my pc)
this device allows you to use your sim again without paying big bucks for a cable .well it comes with bootleg copies of a couple different sims too.
anyway after i bought it i got the email the listing was removed .for whatever reason .but my item has already shown its been shipped and others have gotten theirs and are using them so i am confident i will get my item .

if these 60 dollar go pro`s pan out i might even grab one for an extra .even though we did pay full price for mine .

I actually reported this one...

which is still up. Maybe someone else reported the original.

Tim, they removed the user from ebay -- at that point you can't contact the seller. I called ebay... they then pulled in Paypal on the phone. They created a case ticket right there. I asked how long this would take... she said she would put an escalation on it and I might see my funds tomorrow.

The important part is you open a case with Paypal -- they freeze the funds on the other account so it does not disappear. My fear was waiting 4 weeks.... and the paypal account this is gone as well.

I thought I would give it a try yesterday... I got the email that they had removed the listing last night. I called them this morning.

They are on it. No worries working with ebay and paypal -- this is why I thought I would give it a try.

It is funny to note that the second photo for that listing is a Hero3 with the remote.

This is a completely different thing than the simulator. They go for $8-$15 on ebay + other websites and aren't that valuable. When someone is selling a $250 product he could sell for $150 but he decides to sell it for $60, things are not right.
He was selling them so cheap that he could make a ton of money in a short time so he could get as much money as possible in his bank account.

I don't get it.
Why report the seller when you have no proof that it's a scam?

They do this so they can charge much higher prices for the item. Selling goods so cheap is bad for busness.

There is enough proof floating around if you do some research. We are not the only forum talking about this subject.
