This is very Prop and Battery dependent, but figure somewhere between 45g and 30g.

Good batteries, 5043 are towards the igher end, Cheap batteries 3 blade prop on the lower end.

15 seconds into any battery is going to have more thrust than 5 minutes in, too.

Hi again,i have another question;I have a dual motor airframe that weighs at 60.4g with nothing on it.Im guessing about 20-25g more weight of components to power it.Do you think I can get away with 2 P51 motors and gearboxes would be enough to lift about 85grams?.....I think I should go over but im not expert ......lmk if I can consult this build with you.Thanks,....Al

I'm guessing that there would be no problem if the wing area was 85 sq-in or more.

Is there a formula for calculating thrust needed by measuring wing area?

No, its more weight to wing area that is important.

I have a UMX P51 8.5mm motor and gearbox that I would like to put into a UM scratchbuilt indoor slow flyer. Anyone have recommendations on a design that uses this motor?

Ok,..measured the wings. Its a Wright Bros Flyer so its considered a canard.Does I need to also take in consideration both the main wings or just one?.Im guessing both right?
If so each main wing have a 79sq. inch area take or leave some,so 2x that is 158sq.in.
Both elevators have around 36sq.inch each so 2x that is 72sq.in take or leave some.
As I mentioned above just the airframe is 60.4oz.So guys please lmk if im on the right path.....thanks again
