quick aquacraft wildcat ep stuffing tube question


Ok so I got boat used and noticed the fex tube has no plastic liner aka stuffing tube inside it. Any one have a wildcat too see if this is normal? Can u run without it?

The brass tube is the stuffing tube, it's totally find to run without a liner.

I preaty sure it didn't come stock but if someone has a wildcat on here let me know if it has a plastic liner

It's not a plastic liner , it's Teflon . And yes most rtr and artr boats come with a teflon liner . If it did have a liner then you will need to replace it or replace the brass tubing as the one intended for the teflon tubing will be to large for The flex shaft . You ether need the liner or a smaller brass tubing .

The brushless one doesn't look like it has a teflon liner:
