1.21 Gigawatts!

Multicopters have always been an intriguing aircraft to me. My first knowledge of such device was a RC micro-saucer device from a company called Keyence which I saw at Akihabara in Japan back in the early 1990's. Few years later I was excited to learn about a company called Area51 that manufacturers a larger quadcopter called Roswell Flyer, which was able to fly outdoor in gusty conditions. Then my collection started to grow, everytime a new multicopter comes out, it goes on my most wanted list. Yeah I guess you can call it a fetish.
Here are some of the copters that I took photos of over the years.

Eventhough it has the same Naza controller inside, I liked the form factor and clean design of the Phantom, so I got one in preparation for a family trip. The built in GoPro mount is good, but the jerkiness of the small Phantom makes the resulting video less than satisfactory. So I extended the landing skids and added an RCTimer brushless gimbal system with AlexMos controller. I was pleasantly surprised by the brushless gimbal technology. It far exceeded some of the more expensive servo/motor based gimbal system I've had in the past. Now this is the smallest aerial video platform I have in the fleet, and my favorite go to gimbal for small tasks.
