Had a good time with mine at Camperdown this year. In spite of some heckling from the peanut gallery it will slope in 13-15 knots with the stability garbage turned off. Much nicer in 8-12 and thermals nicely in less if they are around.

Bungy off smooth grass that won't grab the rubber is fine don't do it on a hill with thistles

** Beware one of my Aileron servos was reversed out of the box and as they are internally y leaded a 4 day wait for the programming lead (gratis) until it came from OMP.

Interesting...I was just thinking of a contact and off switch..no receiver...just hook it up and then turn on and go with full throttle..
anyways..how about a templet for the cradle..very interesting...

Hey mate, its literally just a U shaped box with a servo on one side. I'll get the measurements a bit later when I'm home. I'm at the field flying at the moment.

But yeah, you'll be surprised at how simple it is.

I finished the cradle but have some concerns with release...there was a guy that says he did the same and the release servo is very weak and if pressure on it will bind...How did you solve that?? I have done some trials and sometimes it releases and sometimes it does not...I have the tow line release not work the other day...it took 2 on-off trys to finally get it to release....

I'll get some close up pics tomorrow for you, my servo is a basic 9 gram and it releases every time.

lead to gold!

after several outings with lackluster bungee results, we finally got this little sucker out on a decent slope! Yippee! ;] Now I'm excited to see a cradle design for my son's glo plug trainer!

There are a few DIY threads here somewhere on RcGroups on how others have converted to power. I think the best one ive seen is the motor up on a pod above the CoG. It shouldn't be too hard to do with the threads on it.
