Uss slater de 766

Okay here we go

This build will be the Uss Slater De 766 the hull is a old Scale Shipyard hull from Lee about 10 years ago or better can't remember LOL
started to strip down the outer color and removal of the old stringers will replace with fresh material

This is a photo of the refurbished Museum ship in upstate new york i had a growing interest in this ship a long time ago when i boarded her when she was returned to the US from the greek Navy

most of the fittings I have except for a few items which i'll get from John haynes 90% of the weapons are accounted for at my shipyard already will start a parts list next week to see just what i'm missing and start looking around for props shafts and struts

It will be interesting for me to watch your progress on this one as you do very nice work. The Slater is only an hour and a half away from me. Have to get back there again next summer and see their progress.

Jerry,

Your a better man than I am
Is your build going to be the ship in it's present state, or are you building it in the WWII era?

Jared

Edit: Are you going to RC this one?

Jared I'm doing her as is today she had too many refits during the years very confusing and don't want to make a mistake that some people will notice would be very embarrassing

sorry she'll be static too small for r/c
