what the different between outboard or inboard drive on f1 boat. in speed, handling and maintenance others than scale look. I've heard from somewhere an inboard drive F1 will considered as cat class in competition.

The only real difference (other than the fine details of the design) between a cat and a tunnel is where the motor sits (inboard or outboard).

i just recently bought new F1 outrigger (r2 hobbies) and it's inboard driving system. my interest now is to install an outboard motor from hor racing due the ose don't deliver to my country. so im thinking of buying this following product.

my video maiden on 4s 45/90c 5000mah lipo with 443 prop and leopard 1900kv 3674 motor

FYI .130" flex cable works great in the stock O/B lower, Bonding the cable to the stubshaft with Loctite 603 seems to work abit better than silver solder. I ran a stock out board for 14 months with a 3660 2700KV motor on 3 cells and X440 Prop with out major issue, only mod to the leg was the flexishaft in my previous post and changing the bearing nearest to the prop to a 8x4x3 from the stock 8x4x2
