The last day of practice is over. When I arrived late this afternoon, there were two AT6 Texan class models going through their paces prior to tomorrows first heats.
Soon after, the noise curfew was imposed (1730) and quite a few of the electric T28's hit the circuit for a final practice.

On the flight line is a very impressive line up of War-birds and other aeroplanes ready to start tomorrow's activities.
Gratton field is a buzz of activity with all competitors here, many of whom I saw tweaking their models before tomorrow.

I will post updates here tomorrow night with pics of the first day's results.

Just tried to go to the CRAMS web site and it is down.
I was looking for the cost of entry but have not been able to find one.

It's a 1.5hr mission from here and seeing as I've just finished work and its 2am, not keen to go out just to look at a boggy field.

But having said that, Gratton field is a great field to fly from. I was really sad when Chris bought in $100 a year fee's to fly at the warbird events. would have happily paid $10 each time we went there but we only get to 2-3 events a year so $100 was just wayy to much.having said that, he has poured some serious $$$$ into his field.

We'll see what the weather is like in the morning.
