Hi we have been out of the UK for a while on a USA tour , If a TEST is to be undertaken then it has to be with the Manufacturer Jet Joe themselves , I am simply not in a position to free issue engines to people , particularly people we have never met , we can get the engines tested with people here in the UK if that was the case, the products good . Business is good so why do I need to do this ??? at my cost ?? we sell enough products right across Europe and are happy with things the way they are

nice... if you have it up at full power, and it's only at ~520 c.... it's good to go.

So... what are you putting it in?

It's been a couple of weeks and I just wonder if you gotten to test the engine out yet? Maybe even fly it?

Looking forward to a review with a little more data and video :-)

Is the Xicoy a replacement? Did it come with a Xicoy to begin with or did you swap it out at your own cost?

520 C is very cool running. Most turbines I have seen will not make full power at that temp so make sure and check the thrust.

I chose to use the xicoy.

Can you still buy JJ without an ECU at all so you can get a Xicoy and not double pay for ECUs?

No support hardware

You can still all the JJ turbines only, without the support hardware, except for the JJ Jr. The ECU is modified, and at this point it's the only ECU that will work.

Wow I am confused. I thought you got a Jet Joe junior and bought an aftermarket Xicoy. Is it the Xicoy that is modified or the JetJoe Junior ECU youare referring to?

All the Jet Joe turbines will work with other ECU's as long as the operationg parameters are properly set up, with the exception of the Jet Joe Jr. Because of the higher RPM, and Higher temperature's, The ECU for the Jr's have different firmware. Now if other ECU's can have the same parameters, then they will work. But to my knowledge, they don't go that high in RPM and EGT, there are also other issues also, starting RPM being one. Thats the reason the Jr is sold as a set.
