Futaba 8FG Super with OrangeRX DSMX/DSM2 2.4GHz Transmitter Module

Has anybody with a Futaba 8FG Super used this module with any BNF aircraft? I've read several reviews, even on the Hobbyking website where the module is for sale, saying that the module allows you to bind to the aircraft but the channels are in the wrong order so you're unable to fly it. Can anyone verify this?

I'm interested in flying a Blade Nano CPX and I wanted to get a Futaba so I don't have to buy multiple receivers since I'd want to upgrade in the future. Thanks for any input!

A man with too many toys
With that transmitter you have to use the Any Link BNF system. See Tower Hobbies for more details.

The Blade Nano is a Horizonhobby product and so requires a DSMX/DSM2 radio or module.

The AnyLink mentioned will not work with the blade nano

The Futaba 8FG is not a module based radio. You would have to open the module and the radio and solder and adapt one to the other.

Then the channel sequence would come out all wrong anyway as Futaba has a different channel sequence than Spektrum.

Not a good combination.

If you want to buy Spektrum based BnF planes why not get a Spektrum or JR DSMX based radio, since it seem you don't own the Futaba yet. If you did you would know that it is not a module based radio so there is no place to plug in the module.

Aeajr,

You can change the channels sequence on the 8fg.

Aeajr,

You can change the channels sequence on the 8fg.

And with the 14SG, it simply isn't a problem with the new gen of Futaba Tx.

I have a 9C with a Spektrum module, but thanks for the offer. But I think you could have a winner there for non-module Futaba radios.
