It looks like my Square Rigger I made from magazine plans in the last century. It is almost a SPAD. I have a foam wing and bass booms (very flexible in a crash) I forget what magazine it was in. likely early 1990's I had a .40 K&B in it, but like the OS .25 LA better with only the 3 channels.

The wing is 54" x 9" and symmetrical airfoil. Add another inch with ailerons on the chord, fuse length is 37" from the firewall to the end of the booms, and the box is 16" long. The stab is 16 x 5 1/2" and the rudder 7 x 5 1/2". To make it now, I would use downspout and a corro tail. I used doorskin for the box on mine, and the plan called for tricycle gear, but I put a taildragger gear on because I was too lazy to hook up the nosegear. The Debonair is likely a better candidate on the Spad to the bone site. I like the foam wings better than the folded wings though, although mine is ugly.(plywood full thickness doorskin spar, and covered with Econocote, no sheeting anywhere.) I don't have any more pics right now, but you can change stuff out, there is no rule for changes other than correct balance and experimentation.

LT40 with swizzle stick typ fuse

Hey I used the same form of construction on this trainer years ago.
pine door stop strips for the fuse longerons. 1/4" balsa for the fuse box. 3/4 "tri stock in each corner of the box BUT long enough to reach the bottom of the longerons. this allowed the wing/gear box to be slid to a balance point spad style.
