I went through almost a eleven bundles (1200 sqft) last year or about 3 1/4 sqft per day which is almost half a sheet since I use at least two sheets per plane that would be a plane or project every four days which is about right. About what it would take to skin a 1200 sqft house.
It's getting much harder to find around here unless pink is your color.

Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks,mate
found the old maiden flight vid, some minor modifications on the saucer afterward
key learnings from countless crashes:
...cut hole in the center of the disc always help flying stability.
...multiple control surfaces gave better directional control.
...pusher prop benifited the flying disc performance

Cool project. Just make sure you have room for the Illudium Q-32 Explosive Space Modulator. Plus the vending machine of Instant Martians (just add water).

Maiden Flight.
Despite the windy field conditions I took my new "Five Easy Piece" Flying Disk X-2 designed after Marvin Martian's Ride out for her maiden flight.
She is 40" in diameter with a Kline-Fogleman airfoil and is powered by Grayson Hobby's SMJv2 and guided by a 3-channel elevon set-up. I am going to change this before her next flight as I felt her elevons lacked good elevator authority.
I was flying in a steady 1o mph wind with gusts to 20. So I tended to keep it high while iI trimmed out. My DVR's SD card faulted so this is all the video I have of the flight. When I brought it low for an eye-level fly-by a gust of wind dropped it to the ground resulting in minor damage. After repairs and some reconfiguring I'll take her back out.

That is just too much.
I love the Cylon Raider.
Just like my disk.
Once you get them trimmed the fly pretty good.
