Thanks for the backgrounder Adam, quite an interesting company, looks small and quick enough to execute new tech into a product in a timely manner. If the 180 is all it's hyped to be... it'll be a success.

I don't understand the politics... but wouldn't Walkera being a China based company be a no-brainer for the Any link module? Why is Spectrum support seemingly more important/possible than Devo support?

Along with myself.... I'd imagine there being a number of 6ch heli/Ladybird Devo pilots out there that would Love to be able to fly the 180 when it's released with their Devo TX.

Devo support is thinking small.

Instead, they should be thinking of the DeviationX software support instead. Put some real support behind that project and incorporate it's ideas and features into a shipping production product.

Then Spektrum or Devo will be moot.

1st post updated. The name has been changed from Extreme to Xtreme. Also updated the info that now a pre-production model has incorporated LED's. So there is high hopes that we will see LED's on the production run. fingers crossed.

Also some new pics below with the shorter landing gear, ain't she a beaut.

Oooh, the size comparison with the controller made me realize that it's smaller than what i thought. Like brushless mqx, kinda sorta.

That's heaps better with the shorter gear! It is totally removable though isn't it?

Do you have any pics or info on the motors and particularly the prop mounting method? They look good.

Thanks for the update.

Cheers mate.

I'm definitely interested in getting the long legs and camera set-up. Looks to be a perfect video platform.
I'm just curious as to the price of the camera gear.
It's got to be expensive!

Gerard.

Another +1 for Devo support. This is the perfect size in between my QR LB V1 and my MX400!

Sounds great. Thanks for the info and updates.

Now, if any of these flight camera can have the video quality of my iPhone. (Even if it matches the older gen 4 or 4s.) I would be in heaven. Crazy how good the premium smartphone cameras are. Even those currently sitting in my desk drawer.

This new quad and camera module sounds great though. Gotta buy just to so interest in the segment and encourage other manufacturer to step in and bring on the competition and advancements.
