This Thread is dedicated to the RC Logger EYE One Xtreme. The Xtreme sets a new bar for quads with how many amazing features are jam packed into this mini size quad at this pricepoint. If you are unfamiliar with RC Logger, they are a company that is dedicated to providing the highest quality in their products and incredible customer service. Their involvement here on the forums for their products blows out any other company period and many changes are made to their products based on the interaction of users input here on the forums. A personal thanks goes out to MatLi (Chris) and Adam.RCLogger (Adam) for their overwhelming involvement in listening to the consumers to make changes for the better. So read on to get Information, specs and see some pics and video. Adam giving us a taste of what the Xtreme can do in pro flight mode:

You can find many more great videos on the RC Logger youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/matli1965?feature=watch Info & Specs below, but first a few pics of the model (many more pics below): As you can see, this quad is certainly a whole new thought in design and engineering in a package this size. Information: ”RC EYE One” micro-quad series has elevated to its next level – RC EYE One Xtreme. Latest 6-axis gyro stabilization technology, outstanding brushless motor driven flight control, all embedded within a robust yet stylish frame design. The sturdy light weight construction is an ideal platform for flight applications ranging from aerial surveillance, imaging or simply unleashing acrobatic fun flight excitement – ‘flip it’ if you dare! 3 selectable flight modes provide for beginners and experts flight enjoyment alike. 2.4GHz, “OneLINK” and PPM Ready The RC EYE One Xtreme is ready to fly straight out of the box. An ergonomic 2.4 GHz transmitter, available as Mode 1 and Mode 2, ensures interference free piloting control. Optional available is an ”OneLINK” adapter allowing experienced RC pilots to bind their selected transmitter with the RC EYE One Xtreme’s onboard 2.4 GHz receiver. Supported are selected models ranging from Futaba, JR, Spektrum and others. Install your PPM receiver to connect your preferred transmitter. Pilot Assist Features Flight assist features such as an automatic altitude hold function provide pilots with an ideal platform for aerial imaging from video to still photo and air surveillance. 3 flight modes ensure stable flight characteristics for each application, where a stable flight with fully enabled gyro and accelerometer flight control is required or where full performance is released for acrobatic fun flights. 2 sets of different propeller designs are available to support each applications requirement. A front pointing white LED aids as orientation indicator complementing two flashing position lights located port and starboard of the craft. There is also a package available with the OneLink With the amount of time spent on the development of this quad and the excellence that's come to be expected from RC Logger, I think most will agree this is going to be a big success in the RC World and will set the trend for the next line of releases in the mini quad realm. Here is a direct link to the RC Logger distribution page to help you find the best place to purchase/order the Xtreme for your location: http://www.rclogger.com/Where-to-Buy...r-Distributor/ For those that live in the US, I highly recommend purchasing RC Logger products from rc-drones.com and also massiverc.com. Both Z06 Tony (owner of rc-drones.com) and MassiveOverkill (owner of massiverc.com) are extremely active here on the forums and heavily involved in communication on this specific thread. I have always had great experiences with both companies and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in a heart beat. Also if you are looking for any specialty adaptors for the Xtreme and also the EYE One/S check out rc-connectors.com. They have a section dedicated to the Xtreme and Eye One/S. Glenn2626 is the owner and is also an active member here on the forums. I encourage you to jump on over to the RC Logger Forum found on their website where you can keep up with information and give your thoughts and opinions on all the RC Logger products including the EYE One Xtreme: RC Logger forum |

interesting prop design, they almost look like they melted in an oven
I really like the simplistic/minimalistic overall design. but I wish the legs folded up! edit: also, I have always admired the HT-FPV and QAV500 style frames that mount the camera setup in the front and balance it with the battery in the rear. if RC Logger made something like this one day I'd be all over it. |

yeah think I'll take one too. It looks too interesting to pass on :P
I agree with beerassassin... if the legs fold up, that'd make it even more portable! By the way, is that a new version of the EYE One? The landing pods look a little different |

Perfect! That's going to be better protection for the motor pods indeed Will add that to my review

Is there anything like beginner (or sport) modes? The altitude hold makes it attractive for those still climbing up the learning curve.
